Open Source Projects
Open Source has allowed me to collaborate with developers and organizations to create and maintain tools that make a real difference. It's been incredibly rewarding to see people worldwide using and contributing to projects I've maintained or been a part of.
OpenCost Website & 20+ Integrations
Built the OpenCost website, blog, and documentation. I also developed multiple integrations for Grafana, AWS EKS, and US Dept of Defense’s Ironbank.
Paralus Website & CNCF Inclusion
As part of leading the inclusion of the Paralus project into the CNCF landscape, I developed the Paralus website and documentation.

Education & Publications
Teaching and sharing knowledge has always been close to my heart. Whether it's creating educational materials or publishing research, I enjoy helping others learn and grow. It's pretty cool knowing that some of my work is used in classrooms and talked about at conferences.
Dual-Track Agile in Startups
Published a peer-reviewed research paper on CI/CD and devtools in Agile product development. The paper was presented at the International Conference on Software Engineering Advances (ICSEA).

Interactive video content and exercises to teach computer security to beginners. My resources have been used by various Scottish schools, and I have been invited to speak at multiple events.
Espacio Explora Web Workshops
A series of web workshops for teenagers, created while I was a volunteer at Espacio Explora in Panama. The workshops were in Spanish and covered web development, design, and digital literacy.
Developer Relations Strategy Series
A 3-part strategy workshop, largely based on what I often teach at conferences and workshops. It covers the basics of DevRel, community building, and developer marketing.

Having organized dozens of tech events and meetups in the past — for my clients, as part of my job, or as a volunteer — these were the ones with the most impact.
Hack the Burgh (Director)
Led and directed Hack the Burgh 2018 and 2019 editions. Doubled event size and managed a team of 30 volunteers and organizers.
W3C TPAC Hackathon (Director)
Organized W3C TPAC 2024 hackathon, wrote automated submission software. Supported by Google, Mozilla, Adobe.
